Samsung has announced its next super powered flagship smartphone – Galaxy S5, the next version of Galaxy S4. This new 2014 model looks a lot like last year model S4, probably Samsung is following the path of Apple and try to retain the design, style and feel of their premium device brand.
Galaxy S5 comes with 5.1inch full HD Super AMOLED screen (1920 x 1080 px resolution), Snapdragon 801 quad core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and 2GB of RAM. It also features 16MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. It also has built-in storage of 16BG or 32GB (depending on the model) and also can be expanded with up to 128GB with microSD card.

S5 also comes with 2800mAh battery, slightly better than S4’s 2600 mAh and also features whole lot of extra stuffs, such as heart beat monitor next to LED flash, finger print scanner in the rear, ultra fast 4G connectivity.
Samsung claims that S5’s camera is the fastest auto focusing camera available on mobile phones in the market right now, and the camera also features advanced HDR capabilities and able to record videos at 4K resolution.
Galaxy S5 also loaded with Android 4.4.2 (KitKat – latest version) and its official TouchWiz skin, but Samsung did some work on its skin to look more like flat design, though it is not much of an improvement, it can be seen as a move toward much cleaner interface in the next generations.
