Facebook is going to remove messaging capability from it Facebook app for iOS and Android. Users will have to use Facebook Messenger instead. Facebook's spokesperson confirms to The Verge that this is not test and eventually in new future this will happen.
Facebook apps is already notifying that user wont be able to message through Facebook app in few European countries. Facebook also said that lower-end Android devices wont be required to download Messenger app, and also Windows Phone and tablets users will be able to message using their Facebook app.
Facebook Messenger app is already have lot of features and recently they added free calls over Wi-Fi, but some users will find that downloading separate app for just messaging is extra work and disappointing.
